Vanderwesten & Rutherford is a consulting mechanical and electrical engineering firm with 49+ years of experience. Our goal is to integrate forward thinking and quality assurance into each project to produce well researched, practical cost effective, engineering solutions for our clients.

We provide mechanical and electrical consulting engineering services for a wide range of clientele throughout Ontario and other parts of Canada. With offices in London ( Head Office) and Ottawa, V&R has the capacity and skills to undertake a variety of jobs with the efficiency of process to quickly react to project demands. As a newly formed Employee Share Ownership Plan (ESOP), all of V&R’s staff are committed to exceeding the expectations of our clients and ensuring that they are left with a building that is not only simple to maintain but sustainable and cost efficient to operate. V&R is a Professional Engineering firm which has earned the respect of numerous organizations over the course of the last 44 years. V&R is licensed to provide engineering series in Ontario, Nunavut & Northwest Territories, Manitoba and Nova Scotia. We are qualified in an array of engineering projects; from design concepts, new design, review of other firm’s designs, construction documents, contract administration, commissioning, technical investigations and maintenance projects.
