Responsibilities
- Assemble industrial valves, subassemblies and mechanical components according to established procedures, technical drawings and work orders
- Prepare, position, adjust and fasten parts using hand tools, pneumatic or power tools and assembly equipment
- Perform visual and dimensional checks to ensure assemblies meet quality standards
- Use measuring instruments and testing equipment, as needed, to validate product operation and leak-tightness
- Clean, deburr, identify and prepare parts or finished products for the next production or shipping steps
- Complete required documentation related to inspections, tests, traceability and work performed
Your profile
- High school diploma (DES). Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in a technical field of mechanical manufacturing (an asset)
- A minimum of three (3) years in the 4-02 class
- Must be able to read, understand and interpret technical assembly and testing procedures
- Must be able to perform non-actuator valve testing, read measuring instruments and test equipment
- Must be able to write reports and maintain records
- May be required to perform any other duties related to the position
- Training : Rigging and lifting
- A practical and/or theoretical test may be required of candidates
