Title: Senior Director, Global Marketing, Downstream
Reporting to Chief Product Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, driven and results oriented Senior Director, Global Marketing, Downstream to join our team. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the Senior Director, Marketing Downstream will be responsible for leading differentiated brand and marketing efforts in a highly competitive aesthetics market and developing and executing marketing campaigns and programs to drive customer awareness, demand, and revenue. What you will do:
- Create and execute go-to-market strategies and programs to achieve commercial plans, business objectives and grow market share.
- Develop and execute commercialization plans for new and existing products and deliver differentiated value in line with the brand's strategic objectives.
- Build and execute downstream marketing initiatives for targeted customer audiences that facilitate practice integration and create partnership value, including branded digital, social and printed campaigns.
- Develop and implement a streamlined process for distributor and subsidiary support to ensure compliant and brand aligned positioning and messaging of Venus products worldwide.
- Manage the downstream marketing budget, track ROI, analyze and report performance against KPI’s and optimize spend across digital and non-digital channels.
- Collaborate with upstream marketing, and other departments to develop and manage marketing programs to introduce new products and offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design training programs and develop medical educational content and resources for customers.
- Create sales enablement programs and tools that support customer engagement, acquisition, conversion, and retention.
- Be the product’s digital voice, and continuously strive for optimization, identify additional channels and strategies to increase brand awareness and demand generation.
- Monitor brand performance, market research and analysis.
- Be the product champion, instill a sense of excitement about our products within the organization, and the aesthetic community.
- Develop customer relationships and extract customer insights from field and market intelligence to refine key messaging, customer segmentation and strategic operating plans.
- Provide internal thought leadership in strategic discussions and stay current on the latest trends in medical aesthetics via field engagement, market research, advisory boards, and industry congresses and associations.
- Manage a team of 3-5 people.
What you will need:
- 5-7 years Marketing experience with a proven track record of growth and success in the medical aesthetic device industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing, MBA-preferred.
- Experience in brand and product marketing.
- Experience in Omni channel marketing and digital knowledge.
- Experience managing people and external resources.
- B2B and B2C experience mandatory.
- Capable and willing to switch between hands-on tasks and strategic thinking.
- Aptitude to distill data to action and understanding of metric driven marketing.
- Ability to manage through ambiguity and deliver against tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills and ability to work cross-functionally in an organization.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
- Positive attitude, team-player, hands-on, creative.
- An independent learner and flexible in nature.
- Ability to travel 25% of the time.
Compensation
- Base salary range: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00
- Benefits: Comprehensive package starting on Day 1, covering medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a RRSP match, among other benefits.
