About Verge Immigration Services
Verge Immigration Services Inc. is a licensed immigration consultancy in downtown Winnipeg. We help individuals, families and employers through Canadian immigration with clear, honest guidance: the facts, not false promises.
About the role
We're growing and adding an Immigration Case Assistant / Case Manager to our in-office team.
Ideally, you have hands-on experience preparing Canadian immigration applications. If you don't have that yet but you're hungry to learn, work hard and pay close attention to detail, we still want to hear from you. RCICs and experienced professionals are welcome.
What you'll do
- Prepare forms and organize documents for work permits, study permits, visitor records, Express Entry, MPNP and sponsorship files
- Check files for missing documents, errors and inconsistencies before submission
- Follow up with clients to collect documents and keep files moving
- Keep client records organized and deadlines tracked
- Work directly with our RCIC on case strategy
Who we're looking for
- Preferred: hands-on experience preparing IRCC applications (work permits, study permits, Express Entry, MPNP, sponsorship)
- No immigration experience yet? Legal assistant, paralegal or detailed admin experience, or immigration or paralegal studies, plus a strong drive to learn
- RCICs and all experience levels welcome
- Very detail-oriented. You catch mistakes other people miss.
- Strong written English
- Reliable, on time, and comfortable with a structured office environment
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Able to work in person at our downtown Winnipeg office (330 St. Mary Ave). This is not a remote or hybrid role.
What we offer
- Starting salary: $39,520/year ($19/hour, full-time), increasing with experience
- Benefits package
- Hands-on training and mentorship from a licensed RCIC
- Room to grow: pay and responsibilities increase with experience and performance
- A small team where your hard work gets noticed
