We're working with an emerging gold producer looking for a sharp, entrepreneurial VP Corporate Development to help shape its next phase of growth.
We want someone who sees things others don't.
Are you someone who understands the changing political, economic and investment landscape across the Americas. Who recognizes where opportunities might emerge before they become obvious, builds relationships early and knows how to turn an idea into a transaction.
Creative in thinking. Humble in approach. Relentless in the pursuit of opportunities.
You won't necessarily have followed the conventional corporate development career path. You might have come through investment banking, capital markets, geology or mining operations.
What matters is your track record of making things happen.
We're particularly interested in individuals who:
- Have originated opportunities that weren't already on everyone's radar.
- Understand the mining landscape across the Americas, including emerging opportunities, shifting investment dynamics and strategic partnerships.
- Have raised difficult capital, structured creative transactions or found solutions where others might have saw obstacles.
- Combine strong financial and commercial judgement with genuine mining knowledge.
- Build relationships naturally, from local operators and entrepreneurs through to institutional investors and boardrooms.
- Are intellectually curious, commercially sharp and comfortable rolling up their sleeves.
- Spanish fluency would be beneficial but not a prerequisite
