At Coxwell Animal Clinic, we're looking for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Technician to join our close-knit, supportive team. Whether you're an experienced RVT or looking to continue building your skills in a collaborative environment, you'll be joining a clinic where teamwork, professional growth, and exceptional patient care are at the heart of everything we do.

Our veterinarians each bring more than nine years of experience, while our RVTs and support staff are passionate about sharing knowledge, encouraging professional development, and helping one another succeed. Collaboration isn't just encouraged here; it's part of our culture.
Our team also takes pride in giving back to the community through initiatives including the Oscar Fund, annual holiday donation drives supporting Michael Garron Hospital's Pediatric Department, and contributions to the Red Door Family Shelter.
Located in Toronto's vibrant east end, our clinic is situated directly on the TTC route and surrounded by local restaurants, shops, and amenities. The nearby Don Valley ravine trails offer a great escape into nature after work, while the Danforth's restaurants, festivals, and community atmosphere provide plenty to explore outside of clinic hours.
Advanced Medicine in a Modern Environment
Our spacious hospital was purpose-built in 2020 and features:
- Dedicated surgery and dental suites
- Modern ultrasound technology utilized by both veterinarians and RVTs
- Efficient workflows with overlapping technician coverage
- Ample treatment and procedural space
- A diverse caseload including wellness, urgent care, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine cases
You'll have the opportunity to utilize your technical skills across a wide variety of procedures, including dentistry, anesthesia monitoring, spays, neuters, mass removals, cystotomies, exploratory surgeries, and more.
What You Bring
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) designation or eligibility to register in Ontario
- A passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care
- Strong anesthesia monitoring and surgical nursing skills
- Experience or interest in dentistry and dental radiography
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- A positive, supportive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
