ViaX Future Talent Institute

ViaX Future Talent Institute connects the next generation with the people, ideas and places advancing science, technology and society. We bring global academic expertise, industry insight and hands-on exploration into research education.

Over 12 years, ViaX has worked with more than 230,000 students. Our network includes 5,500+ professors and research mentors, with 2,300+ research topics across nine fields. Scholars in our network include academics at Harvard, Cambridge, UC Berkeley and Carnegie Mellon.

Through one-to-one mentorship, small-group research and AI-enabled projects, students learn to frame meaningful questions, investigate evidence and develop original work. They build academic depth and stronger university pathways, alongside the judgment, creativity and confidence to contribute beyond the classroom.

Our work connects research with industry perspectives and community needs. In Canada, we are extending these connections to laboratories, studios, art galleries, and opportunities in embodied AI and robotics, bringing students closer to where ideas are tested and discoveries take shape.

The Global AI Innovation & Future Leaders Summit at UBC brought together more than 400 participants and marked the launch of the ViaX Canada Youth AI Community and Future Impact Challenge 2027, opening new avenues for collaboration, inquiry and international participation.

Our educational philosophy brings technology and the humanities together. Research Excellence, Career Readiness, AI Fluency and Social Impact guide our approach: helping young people use technology with purpose and develop ideas that matter.
