Who we are:
Vireo is one of the fastest-growing cannabis companies in the U.S., building toward becoming the country's largest dispensary operator. We're a publicly traded company with more than 170 dispensaries across 10+ states and $209 million in second-quarter 2026 revenue. And we're just getting started.
Eaze, part of Vireo, brings together e-commerce, retail, and delivery technology to serve customers and power operations across a growing network of dispensaries. Our product team builds the tools that customers, store teams, drivers, and operators rely on every day. As Vireo expands, we have an opportunity to rethink how technology powers cannabis retail at scale.
We're looking for people who thrive on solving hard problems, take ownership, challenge the status quo, and move quickly from ideas to results. If you want to build products that have a measurable impact on a rapidly growing business, we'd love to work with you.
What we offer:
Competitive compensation and performance-based bonus opportunities
Full-time, ongoing engagement as an independent contractor. Employee benefits such as health coverage, paid time off, and retirement plans aren't included, and you're responsible for your own taxes and benefits
Fully remote from anywhere in Canada, with regular overlap with U.S. Pacific business hours
What the role is about:
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to take on our most important product problems. You'll work across a variety of areas, including the consumer app, internal tools, retail, and delivery, and you'll own each problem from discovery through launch and measured results. We're also hiring for how you work. A product manager who uses AI tools well can answer their own data questions, put a working prototype in front of customers before engineering commits a sprint, and turn a month of support tickets into a clear list of problems. We want someone who already works this way with Claude Code or similar tools, and who judges that work by what ships and whether the numbers hold up.
What impact you’ll make:
Lead cross-functional teams of engineering, design, data, operations, and marketing, and set product strategy for the areas you take on: what we build, how we scale it, and why
Work with operations, retail, customer support, compliance, and finance to turn their needs into clear product requirements
Run user research and usability studies, using AI to synthesize interviews, support tickets, and app reviews, then check its conclusions against the source
What you’ve accomplished:
5+ years of product management experience in at least two types of product, such as consumer apps, marketplaces, retail, or internal tools for operations-heavy teams, with a track record of shipping work that moved the business
AI built into your weekly work, well beyond writing help: analysis, research synthesis, prototyping, and automation, with recent examples from your job or your own projects and what changed because of them
Proficiency with Claude Code or a similar agentic tool (such as Cursor or Codex), and you've built at least one prototype, analysis, or internal tool that other people used
Fluency in product analytics: you write SQL, build dashboards, and pull insights from large datasets, and you catch numbers that don't add up
Hands-on experience designing and interpreting A/B tests
Sound judgment about AI's limits: you check its output before you act on it
A solid technical background: you're comfortable reading code, working in a terminal, and talking through trade-offs with engineers
Clear, persuasive writing and presenting: you write crisp docs and can align stakeholders with competing priorities
Range: you ramp up quickly on unfamiliar problems by talking to the people who live with them and pulling the data yourself, and you're comfortable committing to a direction before everything is certain
Bonus: experience shipping LLM-powered features, leading AI adoption on a team, or connecting AI tools to company data (for example, through MCP); a background in cannabis or another regulated industry, or in multi-location retail
