About The Role
Our Demand Sales team is responsible for growing Vistar's advertiser business by partnering with brands and agencies to help solve their marketing needs through Vistar's technology and solutions.
As an Account Executive, you'll manage and grow a portfolio of existing agency and brand relationships while also developing new business opportunities. You'll build relationships across your accounts, respond to campaign briefs and RFPs, proactively identify opportunities for growth, and develop new pipeline through prospecting and outreach.
You'll act as an ambassador for Vistar in the Canadian market, helping current and prospective clients understand the value of programmatic OOH and getting them excited about working with us.
This role is a great opportunity for someone with experience in ad tech sales who is commercially minded, relationship-driven and ready to take greater ownership of client relationships and revenue growth.
What You'll Do
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing agency and brand relationships, identifying opportunities to drive incremental revenue and expand Vistar's partnerships.
- Build strong relationships across multiple levels and teams within client organizations, developing an understanding of their businesses, priorities and media strategies.
- Respond to campaign opportunities, briefs and RFPs from existing and prospective clients, developing thoughtful recommendations and proposals.
- Proactively bring new ideas, products and opportunities to clients based on their objectives and business needs.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through prospecting, outreach, account mapping and re-engagement of dormant opportunities.
- Identify and pursue new contacts and business opportunities across agencies and brands.
- Lead client meetings, presentations and platform demonstrations, communicating Vistar's technology, solutions and differentiators.
- Maintain an active presence in-market through agency meetings, client lunches, industry events and other relationship-building opportunities.
- Manage sales activity, opportunities and pipeline within Salesforce.
- Work closely with Account Management, Analytics and other internal teams to understand client success metrics, solve business needs and identify opportunities for growth.
- Develop a strong understanding of programmatic OOH and the broader advertising ecosystem.
What Experience We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2- 5 years of experience in digital media, advertising, ad tech, media sales, agency planning/buying or a related field.
- Strong client-facing experience and demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- A commercial mindset and interest in growing accounts, developing new business and driving revenue.
- Understanding of how brands and agencies plan and buy media.
- Experience responding to client briefs, developing recommendations and/or presenting to clients.
- Familiarity with digital or programmatic advertising concepts, including targeting, data, measurement and campaign KPIs.
- Experience with programmatic, digital OOH, mobile or location-based data is an asset but not required.
Who You Are
- Proactive and self-motivated. You naturally look for opportunities and next steps rather than waiting for direction.
- Relationship-driven. You enjoy meeting people, developing connections and building long-term client partnerships.
- Commercially curious. You want to understand a client's business and identify ways to grow it.
- Organized and accountable. You're comfortable juggling multiple accounts and opportunities and can be trusted to follow through.
- A strong communicator. You're confident leading conversations and presentations and can communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Resilient. You're comfortable prospecting, following up and continuing to build relationships when an opportunity doesn't happen immediately.
- Collaborative and low-ego. You share information, ask questions and want the broader team to succeed.
- Adaptable. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with changing priorities.
- Curious and eager to learn. You're excited to develop expertise in programmatic OOH, Vistar's technology and the broader ad-tech ecosystem.
If you’re ambitious, highly driven, and interested in making an impact, Vistar is the place for you. Apply to join our team… we’ll see you out there.
