Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a government-wide payment card infrastructure transition from. The project covers payment processing across government ministries, including Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB), with both in-person and e-commerce payment solutions. RFP for the Fiserv PM - final
Key Responsibilities
- Establish project governance, project plans, timelines, milestones and stakeholder communication plans.
- Lead coordination between government ministries, Fiserv, American Express, LDB, technical teams and third-party vendors.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, schedules and project resources.
- Coordinate migration of approximately 460 POS terminals, 1,000 PIN pads and 480 merchant accounts. RFP for the Fiserv PM - final
- Manage migration of approximately 50 e-commerce applications to the Fiserv payment gateway.
- Coordinate application testing, certification and production cutover.
- Manage merchant account setup, Fiserv interfaces, revenue reporting, chargebacks and retrieval processes.
- Establish operational readiness, user access and training plans.
- Coordinate closely with the Treasury Management System project and manage cross-project dependencies.
- Ensure PCI compliance requirements are incorporated into the project plan and support 2027 PCI audit readiness. RFP for the Fiserv PM - final RFP for the Fiserv PM - final
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience within the last 7 years.
- Experience in project integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource, communication, risk and procurement management.
- Undergraduate degree in IT, Engineering, Business or another technology-related field.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Strong experience managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Experience developing project charters, project plans, risk registers, business cases and feasibility studies.
- Experience managing change requests involving cost, schedule, resources, deliverables and project dependencies. RFP for the Fiserv PM - final
Preferred Skills
- Banking, financial services or credit card/payment industry experience preferred.
- Government/public-sector project experience.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience facilitating meetings with clients, vendors and project teams.
- Strong MS Project, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong issue resolution, negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
