Our client is a growing international company looking for a Logistics Coordinator – Last Mile to manage the coordination of frozen imports into North America and oversee shipments from inventory to customers across the U.S. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with suppliers, carriers, warehouses and internal teams to keep the supply chain running smoothly.
Your responsibilities
- Coordinate frozen import shipments from around the world into North America.
- Manage last-mile logistics for ocean reefer containers.
- Coordinate outbound shipments from inventory to customers, from A to Z.
- Work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, warehouses and trucking providers.
- Follow up on customs and FDA releases.
- Troubleshoot shipment and supply chain issues and proactively resolve service problems.
- Communicate with internal teams including Customer Service, Supply Chain and Accounting.
- Help ensure excellent service levels in a fast-paced, growing environment.
What we're looking for
- Fluent English, written and spoken, as the role supports the U.S. market.
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain or a related field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- A proactive, assertive and solution-oriented approach.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills; Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Experience with SAP and/or EDI is an asset.
- Comfortable working with technology and online logistics platforms.
