Your role with us:
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the CNC Machinist is responsible for safe and efficient setup, programming, operation, and maintenance of CNC equipment used to manufacture precision components. This role supports production objectives by ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy, and productivity, while interpreting technical drawings, performing inspections, troubleshooting machining issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment
(Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:20PM – 2:50AM)
You will bring to the role:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience operating Mazak Multi-Axis CNC Machines within a manufacturing environment.
- Cross training and proficiency on both Mazak CNC mills (preferred) and CNC Lathes.
- Journeyperson Machinist designation preferred.
- Oil and gas industry experience is preferred.
- Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings, machining processes, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity working with ERP systems, and intermediate computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
- Valid first aid certification is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and teambuilding skills.
