Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior
VStream Labs Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist for a full-time contract assignment. This role is onsite in Toronto, Ontario, five days per week. Compensation: CAD $40-$45 per hour.
What you will do
- Develop test strategies, plans, cases, scripts, test data, and reports for large enterprise systems.
- Execute functional, integration, system, regression, accessibility, user-acceptance, and non-functional tests across GUI and non-GUI applications.
- Build and maintain automated UI and API tests, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, and track defects through resolution.
- Conduct performance, load, and stress testing; analyze bottlenecks and quality metrics.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and testing leads in Agile delivery.
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of software testing experience in enterprise IT environments and large-scale systems.
- Hands-on manual and automated testing experience, with strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Experience producing test strategies, test cases, scripts, and reports.
- Experience with Selenium or comparable automation tools, Postman or comparable API testing tools, and JMeter, LoadRunner, or comparable performance testing tools.
- Knowledge of Azure or AWS; experience with defect tracking and end-to-end functional and non-functional testing.
- Extensive experience with AODA accessibility testing and compliance.
- Ability to work onsite in Toronto five days per week.
Preferred
- Ontario public-sector QA experience.
- SQL or Oracle data validation, CI/CD, Git, scripting, and test-data management.
