DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work in accordance with the Company's Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures, and standards
Supervise and coordinate a team of Geotechnicians and core cutters to ensure the safe, efficient, and consistent operation of the Company's drill core processing and logging facility ("core shack")
Provide training, guidance, and oversight to Geotechnicians and core cutters to ensure adherence to established procedures and best practices for:
Handling, opening, transporting, and storing drill core boxes
Accurate and consistent collection of drill core data, including meter mark measurements, core orientation, Rock Quality Designation (RQD), magnetic susceptibility measurements, and core photography
Entry and QA/QC of geotechnical data within the Company's data management systems
Safe operation, upkeep, and routine maintenance of core cutting equipment and core saws
Sample preparation, packaging, and shipment to analytical laboratories in coordination with site geologists and the Database Geologist
Maintain accurate records and location tracking of drill core stored within the core storage facility
Manage the storage, organization, and inventory control of laboratory pulps, rejects, and retained samples
Conduct routine inspections and inventory checks of equipment, consumables, and supplies required for core processing and sampling activities
Promote a proactive safety culture through clear communication, hazard awareness, and adherence to safe work practices
Collaborate closely with geologists and other site personnel to support exploration program objectives
Review and approve daily safety performance cards, and maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date records, timesheets, and other operational documentation as required

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Strong leadership, organizational, and team coordination skills
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data quality, accuracy, and procedural compliance
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word is considered an asset
