We are seeking an experienced Industrial Millwright (433A) to join our maintenance team in a high-volume automotive metal stamping facility. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment to ensure maximum uptime, safety, and efficiency.
Our facility operates mechanical and hydraulic stamping presses ranging up to 1,200 tons, along with automated feed lines, material handling systems, conveyors, compressors, pumps, and other critical production equipment.

What You'll DoEquipment Maintenance & Repair
- Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on stamping presses and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Maintain coil handling equipment, feed lines, conveyors, transfer systems, compressors, pumps, and other plant machinery.
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Assist with equipment installations, major repairs, alignments, and commissioning activities.
Preventative Maintenance
- Complete scheduled PM inspections and maintenance tasks.
- Inspect machinery for wear, vibration, alignment issues, and lubrication deficiencies.
- Replace bearings, seals, belts, chains, couplings, and other mechanical components.
- Document repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Continuous Improvement
- Support equipment reliability initiatives and process improvements.
- Assist with machinery modifications and automation projects.
- Work closely with production, electrical maintenance, and tooling teams to improve equipment performance.
Safety
- Follow all company safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Ensure proper control of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and stored-energy hazards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Participate actively in safety and continuous improvement programs.
QualificationsRequired
- Licensed Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A) preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of Stamping press maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Solid understanding of power transmission components, bearings, gearboxes, shafts, clutches, brakes, and lubrication systems.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Preferred
- Experience in automotive stamping, metal forming, or heavy manufacturing.
- Experience maintaining medium- to large-tonnage stamping presses.
- Welding and fabrication skills.
- CMMS experience.
- Familiarity with automotive manufacturing standards and IATF 16949 requirements.
