Position Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and friendly Part-Time Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to support the day-to-day operations of our medical clinic.
What you will be doing:
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Check patients in and out and update patient information.
- Process referrals, forms, prescriptions, and medical records.
- Assist with billing and other administrative duties as required.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Support physicians and clinic staff with daily administrative tasks.
- Keep the reception and clinic areas organized.
- Perform other duties as required to support efficient clinic operations.
You have:
- Medical Office Assistant certificate or relevant experience preferred.
- Previous medical clinic experience is an asset.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional, reliable, and patient-focused.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems is an asset.
