Document Control Coordinator (Full Time Contract)
South Vancouver, BC
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Coordinator to join Wesgroup’s records digitization project through the end of 2027. Reporting to the Manager, Office Services, you will play an important role in transforming our physical records into an organized and accessible digital archive, with responsibility for document preparation, scanning, quality control and file organization.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and enjoys bringing order and accuracy to large volumes of information. As part of a significant company-wide records initiative, you will help preserve and improve access to critical organizational information for years to come.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Prepare documents for scanning by removing staples, paper clips, bindings, and other fasteners.
- Operate high-volume scanning equipment and upload files to designated document management systems.
- Perform quality assurance checks to ensure scanned images are complete, accurate, and legible.
- Organize and track records throughout the digitization process while maintaining accurate project documentation.
- Monitor processing volumes and maintain efficient workflow standards.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Lift, carry, and move bankers' boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Work effectively in a warehouse or records storage environment.
- Support additional records management and administrative activities as required.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 1-2 years of experience in document control, records management, document scanning, or a related administrative role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of quality.
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong time management skills and ability to maintain productivity while meeting deadlines.
- Able to perform the physical requirements of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting bankers' boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to successfully completing the full contract term.
- Proficient with basic computer applications and file management systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
COMPENSATION & REWARDS
- The expected hourly salary range for this role is $ 23 – 25 per hour. Actual salary offered will depend on individual experience and qualifications for the role.
