West Coast Modern

You never know what might be found behind an unassuming hedge or atop an oceanside cliff. West Coast Modern opens the door to British Columbia's most remarkable homes: houses that are modern in principle, many of them architect-designed, often the homes architects built for themselves.

From the post-and-beam houses of Arthur Erickson, Ron Thom and Fred Hollingsworth to the work of designers building today, every home we release is presented the way a publication would present it, with architectural photography, film, a written feature story and press. Our homes have appeared in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, The Globe and Mail, Dwell and The Local Project.

Not one of our home sales has resulted in its demolition. Instead, a new market has been created for these homes, both vintage and new, that values design, stewardship and the people who will care for them next.
