Position: Campus Manager – Kelowna Campus
Location: Kelowna, BC (in-person) Job Type: Full‑time (40 hours per week)
ABOUT THE ROLE
Western Community College is seeking a Campus Manager to lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of our New Kelowna campus.
This is a hands-on role that works across campus functions to support students, faculty, and staff while maintaining a well-organized and engaging campus environment. The Campus Manager will work closely with WCC leadership and colleagues across the College and will contribute to student services, academic coordination, community engagement, campus activities, and local recruitment initiatives.
The successful candidate will be comfortable taking initiative, working across different areas of the campus, and responding to changing priorities in a dynamic post-secondary environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the day-to-day campus environment and coordinate activities to ensure students, faculty, staff, and visitors have the support they need.
- Lead, guide, and support campus administrative and support staff in accordance with established College policies and reporting structures.
- Coordinate student-facing services and respond to student questions, concerns, and day-to-day campus needs.
- Work with faculty and academic leadership to support class schedules, classroom requirements, academic activities, and other campus-level academic matters.
- Work collaboratively with Admissions and WCC leadership to support local recruitment, enrolment initiatives, prospective student engagement, and community outreach.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local organizations, businesses, and community partners to increase awareness of WCC and strengthen its connection with the Kelowna and Okanagan communities.
- Monitor campus facilities, classrooms, equipment, access, and general readiness, arranging follow-up and support when required.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment and support health, safety, emergency preparedness, and incident response procedures.
- Organize and support orientations, information sessions, student activities, community initiatives, and other campus events.
- Maintain clear communication with students, faculty, staff, WCC leadership, and other campuses to ensure campus needs and issues are addressed effectively.
- Ensure campus documentation, records, reports, and other administrative information are maintained accurately and appropriately.
- Contribute to projects and initiatives that support campus development, student experience, community engagement, and the broader goals of the College.
- Participate in occasional evening or weekend activities and events as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A master's degree is considered an asset.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in a supervisory, administrative, education, student services, campus, or operations environment.
- Previous experience supervising or coordinating staff is preferred.
- Experience in a post-secondary or educational environment is an asset.
