About White Oak Consulting We built White Oak Consulting intentionally different, to redefine what business owners expect from their finance team. We manage the financial and operational needs of established businesses across Canada, so owners get relief and the freedom to grow the business they set out to build.
We are a growing team, recently named Employer of the Year 2026 by the Amherstburg Chamber of Commerce. We just opened our brand-new office in Windsor, and we are growing. Our tagline, The freedom to build what's next, applies to our team as much as our clients: we care about work-life balance and long-term career growth, and we reject grind culture.
About the role We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to keep our clients' books accurate, current, and ready for decisions. You will own a portfolio of client files from start to finish and be a trusted, steady presence for the owners you work with.
This is a hybrid role. Your week will be a mix of time at our new Windsor office, time onsite with clients across Windsor-Essex County, and remote days. Because of the in-person work, you must live in or within commuting distance of Windsor-Essex County.

- Complete monthly bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and receivable, and keep vendor and customer records clean
- Prepare HST filings and support payroll processing
- Prepare month-end and year-end files, ready for review
- Work onsite with clients to review records, answer questions, and catch issues early
- Spot discrepancies and improvement opportunities, and raise them clearly and kindly
- Work closely with our team and use our tools, including Financial Cents and Dext
