Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to join our Talent team and support recruitment efforts on our CG animated feature

Reporting to the Director, Workforce Management, you will be a trusted recruitment partner to production, creative, and technical leaders. You will translate the production needs into practical hiring strategies, identify and engage exceptional talent across the animation pipeline, and deliver an equitable, high-touch candidate experience. This role is well suited to a resourceful recruiter who understands the pace and specialized talent needs of animated feature production and can balance immediate hiring priorities with long-term pipeline development.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
What You'll Do:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment, focusing primarily on our animated feature. This role will own the process from intake, screening, and sourcing through interviews, references, offer negotiation and contracting.
- Partner with Artist Management and Production teams to understand the hiring roadmap, role requirements, schedules, and shifting production priorities.
- Develop targeted sourcing strategies and talent pipelines across key feature-animation disciplines.
- Source and engage active and passive candidates through industry networks, referrals, online communities, events, schools, and direct outreach.
- Assess resumes, portfolios, demo reels, and relevant production experience in partnership with hiring teams.
- Coach hiring managers on structured interviews, candidate evaluation, inclusive hiring practices, and timely decision-making.
- Maintain accurate recruiting activity in our ATS and other relevant databases and provide clear reporting.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with candidates while representing WildBrain’s employee value proposition and studio culture.
- Identify candidates’ immigration and work authorization needs early in the recruitment process, and support them in partnership with our immigration consultants.
- Partner with Talent and Production to support workforce planning, onboarding readiness, and a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
- Identify and implement improvements to recruiting processes, tools, outreach, and candidate experience.
What You'll Bring
- Several years of progressive full-cycle recruitment experience, including ownership of complex or high-volume hiring portfolios.
- Recruitment experience within animation and/or VFX for episodic or film productions is required. Experience recruiting for animated features is strongly preferred.
- A working understanding of animated feature production and the creative, technical, and production disciplines that contribute across the pipeline.
- Demonstrated ability to advise hiring managers and build credibility with stakeholders.
- Strong sourcing capabilities, including the ability to engage specialized and passive talent in competitive markets.
- Sound judgment when reviewing portfolios, demo reels, credits, and transferable experience, with the curiosity to learn unfamiliar disciplines quickly.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- A team-first mindset, demonstrated through open collaboration, shared accountability, and a willingness to contribute wherever needed.
- The ability to manage multiple requisitions and changing priorities while maintaining accuracy, urgency, and consistent follow-through.
- An established network within the global animation, visual effects, or feature-film community.
- Experience using an applicant tracking system and recruitment data to manage workflows, identify risks, and communicate progress.
Why WildBrain
Pay Range
$85,000 to $95,000 per year.
Candidates are paid within the range posted, but their exact pay will vary based on the level, responsibilities and expectations of the role. We also take into consideration the experience and skills that individual brings, with consideration of our internal equity.
