About The Role
The Business Analyst role at Electric Mind is designed for professionals who excel at bringing clarity to complex challenges and transforming uncertainty into actionable strategies. In this position, you will facilitate critical conversations to surface core issues, apply structured analysis techniques to refine thinking, and translate insights into practical recommendations. You will work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to shape and support the delivery of strategies and solutions aimed at improving performance, reducing costs, driving growth, and mitigating risks.
You will not only define project paths but also support their execution, ensuring that requirements are clearly articulated and that solutions are durable and impactful. Your responsibilities will include requirements gathering, process analysis, solution validation, and facilitating agile delivery processes. Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a business and/or technology major with a strong interest in management consulting
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in business analysis and/or business systems analysis
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Experience with use case and sequence diagrams (UML) and process modeling (BPMN, data flow diagrams)
- Proficiency in data mapping, data modeling, or handling data with tools such as SQL or Tableau
- Understanding of systems and integration patterns, including REST APIs, batch vs. real-time processing, and event-based architectures
- Experience managing requirements using tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating ideas clearly in workshops, presentations, and stakeholder discussions
- Strong facilitation, prioritization, planning, organization, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Partner with clients to understand their business objectives and translate these into clear, testable system and functional requirements
- Support end-to-end project delivery by clarifying requirements throughout development, testing, and deployment phases
- Manage and prioritize the backlog, refine requirements, and create high-quality user stories with acceptance criteria
- Elicit, analyze, and document requirements across applications, data, integrations, and workflows to ensure alignment between business needs and technical design
- Analyze current and future-state systems, processes, and data flows to identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and opportunities for optimization
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and technical leads to validate feasibility, surface trade-offs, and support solution design decisions
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions with both business and technical stakeholders to foster shared understanding of system behavior and constraints
- Support quality assurance activities by assisting in test planning, validating requirements against delivered functionality, and confirming production readiness
- Enable agile delivery by facilitating ceremonies, supporting sprint planning, and promoting continuous improvement practices
- Identify, monitor, and manage scope, timeline, and technical risks, escalating issues as needed to ensure project success
