Job Summary
We are seeking a NACC-trained Personal Support Worker (PSW) with practical AI and digital technology experience to support the integration of technology into senior-care operations.
The position combines frontline senior-care knowledge with AI and digital skills to collect operational data, support AI development, improve digital documentation and workflows, and train PSWs and seniors to use digital technology.
Key Duties
- Work with seniors and PSWs to understand and document real-world care workflows.
- Collect and organize approved operational data for AI and digital health development.
- Support implementation and testing of AI and digital healthcare tools.
- Train PSWs and healthcare staff on digital portals, documentation and workflows.
- Teach seniors how to use smartphones, tablets, computers and digital services.
- Develop and improve digital SOPs and workflow processes.
- Provide frontline feedback to technology and R&D teams.
- Support technology adoption with a compassionate, patient and service-oriented approach.
Required Qualifications
- NACC PSW qualification/training required.
- Experience working with seniors in LTC, retirement or community settings.
- Practical experience using AI and digital technologies.
- Experience teaching seniors technology or conducting technology classes.
- Strong communication and training skills.
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Compassionate and service-oriented.
Position Rationale
The PSW qualification provides the employee with the direct care, senior-care and frontline healthcare knowledge required to understand LTC workflows, while AI and digital technology experience enables the employee to translate those workflows into data, digital processes and AI-enabled solutions. Experience teaching seniors provides the essential bridge between technology and its practical adoption by the senior population.
