We are seeking an Intermediate Network Analyst with strong hands-on experience in network infrastructure implementation, migration, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will support the replacement and migration of core and edge switches, configure routing, firewall and NAT policies, and coordinate network circuit upgrades and decommissioning activities.
Requirements
University degree or technical diploma in a related field such as communications technology, plus appropriate vendor network certification
4 years of recent data networking experience
At least 3 years' demonstrated experience with network equipment implementation/planning, site assessments, network standards, and network troubleshooting/problem solving.
Replace and migrate core and edge network switches.
Migrate configurations from legacy equipment to new network infrastructure.
Configure routing, firewall, and NAT policies.
Coordinate replacement of legacy Metro circuits with new CE circuits.
Support vendor pre-field, staging, implementation, and circuit replacement activities.
Coordinate decommissioning of legacy network circuits.
Perform site preparation and hardware installation support.
Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues.
Support network implementations and production cutovers, including after-hours work when required.
Perform onsite/physical activities associated with network deployments.
