XONE Precision Medicine is looking for a Precision Nutrition Specialist to support clients through personalized, evidence-informed nutrition strategy.
XONE is a physician-led, team-driven precision medicine and longevity clinic in Calgary. We work with clients who want a deeper understanding of their health, risk profile, metabolism, physical performance, and long-term health trajectory.
We are looking for someone who can think clinically, interpret complex health data, communicate clearly, and help clients make meaningful changes in their daily lives.
The Precision Nutrition Specialist will review inputs such as select blood biomarkers, continuous glucose monitoring data, food logs, microbiome sequencing reports, body composition, metabolic markers, lifestyle patterns, wearable insights, and client goals. Working with our clinical team, this person will translate that information into a practical nutrition plan that is personalized, evidence-informed, and achievable.
What you’ll do
- Deliver one-on-one nutrition consultations for XONE Precision Medicine clients.
- Translate client data into clear, practical nutrition recommendations.
- Support client goals related to metabolic health, glucose control, body composition, cardiovascular risk, hormone health, gut health, energy, performance, and long-term health optimization.
- Help clients understand what matters most and where to focus first.
- Build plans that are realistic, sustainable, and aligned with the client’s lifestyle and goals.
- Review and interpret advanced bloodwork, CGM data, food logs, body composition results, microbiome reports, wearable data, supplement history, symptoms, preferences, and barriers.
- Create clear, polished, client-facing recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, health coaches, performance specialists, and the broader XONE team.
- Help refine nutrition workflows, templates, reports, and client education materials as the program grows.
Who we’re looking for
You may be a strong fit if you:
- have a background in nutritional biochemistry, hold a Registered Dietitian designation, or bring advanced clinical nutrition expertise
- are comfortable working with engaged, health-conscious, high-performing, and data-driven clients
- understand metabolic health, insulin resistance, glucose variability, body composition, cardiovascular risk, microbiome health, and lifestyle medicine
- can interpret CGM and food log data and translate it into practical recommendations
- are interested in longevity, prevention, precision health, and Medicine 3.0 principles
- can work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- can write clear, polished, client-facing recommendations
- are organized, thoughtful, and comfortable helping build systems as the program evolves
- enjoy helping clients turn insight into action
Qualifications
Required or strongly preferred:
- Experience with clinical nutrition sciences
- Experience delivering one-on-one client or patient consultations
- Strong foundation in evidence-informed nutrition practice
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly
- Comfort working with digital tools, reports, and health data
- Strong documentation and written communication skills
- Collaborative, professional, and client-centred approach
Nice to have:
- Registered Dietitian designation
- Experience with CGM interpretation
- Experience with food-logging tools
- Experience interpreting advanced bloodwork or metabolic markers
- Experience interpreting DEXA or other body composition data
- Experience in private healthcare, longevity, performance, or executive health
What makes this role different
At XONE, nutrition is not treated as a standalone appointment disconnected from the rest of a client’s health picture. It is integrated into a broader precision health model.
You will apply nutrition expertise alongside clinical and performance data to help answer questions such as:
- What is driving this client’s glucose response?
- Is weight change reflecting fat loss, muscle loss, or both?
- Are dietary patterns contributing to inflammation, cardiovascular risk, fatigue, gut symptoms, or metabolic dysfunction?
- Which changes should be prioritized for the greatest impact?
- How can the plan work in the client’s day-to-day life?
- What support does the client need to follow through?
Why join XONE
This is an opportunity to help shape the nutrition function within a premium precision medicine and longevity clinic.
You will be part of a growing team building a more integrated approach to prevention, metabolic health, performance, and long-term health optimization.
For the right person, this is more than a consultation role. It is a chance to help shape how nutrition is assessed, communicated, and supported across XONE Precision Medicine.
