Responsibilities
The role involves applying hydrodynamic modeling in coastal engineering and water-related work, potentially including mine water balances and mine water management. It includes office-based computer work and may require field work in inclement weather.
Requirements
A graduate degree in engineering focused on hydrodynamics, water resources, or hydrology and at least five years of relevant experience in consulting or regulatory environments are required. Regular use of hydrodynamic modeling tools is expected; mining experience is an asset, and eligibility for professional registration with PEO or PGO is required.
