Role Description The Sales Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based at Yorkdale Ford in Canada. This position involves greeting and engaging customers in the showroom, understanding their driving needs and budget, and recommending suitable Ford vehicles from new and pre-owned inventory. The Sales Consultant will conduct product demonstrations, explain features and benefits, arrange test drives, and guide customers through pricing, financing, and warranty options. Daily responsibilities include managing leads, following up with prospective and existing customers, maintaining accurate records in the dealership’s systems, and collaborating with the sales and service teams to ensure a smooth customer experience. The role also requires staying informed about current promotions, inventory changes, and Ford product updates to provide accurate, timely information.

- Strong Sales Consulting skills with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate vehicle solutions.
- Commitment to Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, focusing on building long-term relationships and repeat business.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and professional presentation.
- Consulting skills to guide customers through options such as financing, warranties, and accessories in an informative, non-pressuring manner.
- Previous experience in automotive sales or retail sales is an asset.
- Comfort with using dealership CRM systems and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work on-site, including evenings and weekends as required by dealership hours.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, in line with local regulations.
