About us
Unlimit Mobile gives international students and newcomers simple prepaid SIM and eSIM plans for Canada, the USA and the UK: unlimited data, calls and texts, no contracts, no credit checks, and 24/7 support. In Canada we run on TELUS's network. Unlimit Mobile is part of Zetexa Global, whose platform serves 2,000+ partners worldwide.
The role
You'll be our first person on the ground in Toronto. Your job is to get Unlimit Mobile into the arrival journey at Canadian universities and colleges so students land already connected. You'll build the pipeline, meet student-services leaders, and close partnership agreements. Most of your time will be on campus and in meetings.
What you'll do
Win partnerships with university and college international student offices, international admissions and recruitment teams, residence and housing offices, and student unions.
Build and run a pipeline across the GTA and Ontario (Toronto, Mississauga, Waterloo, Hamilton, Ottawa).
Shape and close agreements: pre-arrival eSIM offers, orientation-week bundles, residence welcome kits, and student-union member deals.
Run campus activations at orientation, welcome weeks, info booths and residence move-in days.
Work with marketing on co-branded materials, referral and group-buy campaigns, and partner reports.
Keep the CRM current and share regular updates with leadership.
What you'll bring
3–4 years in B2B sales, business development or partnerships, with a record of closing deals.
Ideally, experience selling into higher education or to students (student recruitment platforms, student housing, student insurance, edtech).
Telecom, edtech or fintech experience is a plus.
Based in Toronto, with a valid driver's licence and willingness to travel across Ontario.
Confident presenting to administrators and to students; a self-starter comfortable in an early-stage market.
Bonus: a language widely spoken by international students (e.g. Hindi, Punjabi, Mandarin, Tagalog, Farsi, Spanish).
What success looks like
6 months: 60+ institutions mapped, 25+ discovery meetings, 3–5 signed partnerships, and at least one live campus activation.
12 months: 10–15 active partners, a repeatable playbook for the September and January intakes, and 2+ partners renewed or expanded.
