Responsibilities
Develop secure, robust, and testable code for large, collaboratively developed modular projects. Collaborate on backend development for highly available distributed systems, including reviewing code, implementing and providing specifications, and writing documentation.
Requirements
Requires strong Python and Perl programming skills, SQL and database programming knowledge, and expert Linux knowledge, including familiarity with UNIX system calls. Candidates should have experience with large collaborative projects, backend development for state-based distributed systems and highly available APIs, and modern tools and practices such as Git, Jenkins, Agile, and continuous integration.
