The Position:
Absorb is seeking a dynamic Manager, Business Development to lead and develop our team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) as we continue to grow our outbound sales motion. As our business continues to grow, we are adding an additional manager to support team expansion, improve operational efficiency, and ensure we can successfully scale for future growth. As BDR Manager at Absorb LMS, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining and scaling a high-performing outbound team. Reporting directly to our hands-on VP of Business Development, you'll lead by example - motivating reps, fine-tuning talk tracks, and driving results through targeted outreach and strategic prospecting. Leveraging your management skills and sales expertise to mentor your team to spark interest with prospects, and showcase the value of our Learning Management Solution.
This is a growth position created to support an expanding team, increasing business demand, and ongoing investments in operational excellence. We’re looking for someone who thrives on coaching and development, takes pride in execution, and balances a strong sense of initiative with deep respect for leadership and team collaboration. You should have a genuine love for cold calling, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to guide your team through complex and highly specific outbound campaigns. You’ll be responsible for adopting and optimizing a robust prospecting framework, executing multi-touch campaigns, enhancing pre-call planning processes, and hands-on management needed to exceed sales quotas and drive new bookings.
