Road Technician Ottawa
Responsibilities
- Perform periodic maintenance
- Diagnose and repair electric forklifts, docks and pallet trucks
- Maintain the mechanical and physical condition of customer equipment
- Travel from site to site in a service vehicle provided by our customer
- Manage service vehicle parts and tools inventory
- Maintain customer equipment in a cost-effective manner
- Continue to update skills and qualifications as technology advances
- Carry out repairs in compliance with manufacturer's safety recommendations
- Maintain health and safety vigilance in the performance of various tasks
- Keep work environment clean, clear and safe
- Ensure that tools used are in good condition
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Mechanical/repair license or certificate an asset
- 2 years repair experience
- Valid driver's license
- Bilingualism (English and French) * required
- Ability to work as part of a team, resourcefulness, self-determination and organizational skills.
Benefits
Salary; 55,000 to 75,000 depending on experience + full fringe benefits
- The high frequency and complexity of interactions require the use of English, particularly as these exchanges occur regularly with customers and suppliers located outside Quebec.
