<p>Adecco is currently hiring a<strong> Financial Analyst, Accounts Payable </strong>for a growing finance team in Toronto, ON. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in accounts payable, financial reporting, reconciliations, ERP systems, and month-end accounting.</p><p>As a member of the Finance team, you will support full-cycle accounts payable operations, financial analysis, reporting activities, ERP-related initiatives, and continuous process improvements.</p><ul><li><p><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> $50,000 - $70,000/year</p></li><li><p><strong>Location:</strong> Toronto, ON</p></li><li><p><strong>Shift:</strong> Monday to Friday<strong> | </strong>Hybrid work model with 3 days in office</p></li><li><p><strong>Job type:</strong> Temporary 1 year with possibility of extension | Full-time</p></li><li><p><strong>Vacancy Status:</strong> This posting is for an <strong>existing vacancy</strong>.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Here's why you should apply:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Paid weekly accurate and on time</p></li><li><p>Strong health and safety programs</p></li><li><p>Medical and dental benefits once qualified</p></li><li><p>Free training programs</p></li><li><p>New and quicker onboarding process</p></li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, vendor payments, expense reports, credit card reconciliations, and payment administration.</p></li><li><p>Monitor outstanding payables, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely payments.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts, accruals, journals, and month-end reporting.</p></li><li><p>Support financial analysis, forecasting, variance reviews, and expenditure tracking.</p></li><li><p>Prepare financial reports, HST filings, and supporting documentation.</p></li><li><p>Assist with audits and maintain compliance with financial policies and controls.</p></li><li><p>Support Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and identify opportunities for process improvements.</p></li><li><p>Participate in ERP implementation, testing (UAT), data validation, and system optimization initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Assist with SOP documentation, user training materials, and financial system support.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Skills:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.</p></li><li><p>Minimum 3 years of accounting, accounts payable, or financial analysis experience.</p></li><li><p>Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.</p></li><li><p>Experience supporting ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.</p></li><li><p>Public sector, government, healthcare, education, or broader public sector experience is considered an asset.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of accounts payable, financial controls, GAAP, budgeting, and forecasting.</p></li><li><p>Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong Microsoft Office skills.</p></li><li><p>Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.</p></li><li><p><strong>Must be able to successfully complete a background and credit check.</strong></p></li><li><p>Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada</p></li></ul><p>Are you interested in this position?
