<p>Adecco is currently hiring a<strong> Senior Financial Analyst (CPA) </strong>for our client in Toronto, ON. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, ERP systems, and public sector accounting.</p><p>As a key member of the Finance team, you will support financial reporting, business planning, treasury operations, ERP initiatives, and strategic decision-making.</p><ul><li><p><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> $85,000 - $105,000/year</p></li><li><p><strong>Location:</strong> Toronto, ON</p></li><li><p><strong>Shift:</strong> Monday to Friday</p></li><li><p><strong>Job type:</strong> Temporary | 1 year with possibility of extension OR 6 months with possibility of extension | Full-time</p></li><li><p><strong>Vacancy Status:</strong> This posting is for an <strong>existing vacancy</strong>.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Here's why you should apply:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Paid weekly accurate and on time</p></li><li><p>Strong health and safety programs</p></li><li><p>Medical and dental benefits once qualified</p></li><li><p>Free training programs</p></li><li><p>New and quicker onboarding process</p></li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Lead month-end and year-end accounting and financial reporting activities.</p></li><li><p>Prepare financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses.</p></li><li><p>Manage general ledger, payroll accounting, capital assets, inventory, and reconciliations.</p></li><li><p>Support treasury functions, including cash forecasting, banking, and investments.</p></li><li><p>Prepare reports for senior leadership, committees, and external stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Support audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance activities.</p></li><li><p>Develop financial models and support annual budgeting and multi-year planning.</p></li><li><p>Recommend and implement process improvements, financial controls, and reporting enhancements.</p></li><li><p>Provide financial guidance and insights to leadership teams.</p></li><li><p>Support ERP implementation, testing, reporting improvements, and user training.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Skills:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.</p></li><li><p><strong>CPA designation required.</strong></p></li><li><p>Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.</p></li><li><p>Experience in a government, public sector, healthcare, education, or broader public sector environment preferred.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of PSAS, PSAB, GAAP, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and treasury management.</p></li><li><p>Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar.</p></li><li><p>Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.</p></li><li><p>Must be able to successfully complete a background and credit check.</p></li><li><p>Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada</p></li></ul><p>Are you interested in this position?
