This role is ideal for experienced IT professionals with backgrounds in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, network administration, systems management, technology strategy, project management, and team leadership.

Responsibilities:
- Technology Leadership & Strategy
- Lead the development and execution of the organization's multi-year technology roadmap.
- Identify and implement technology solutions that improve efficiency, service levels, and business operations.
- Provide recommendations on system upgrades, enhancements, and new technologies to senior leadership.
- Manage IT budgets and oversee technology-related expenditures across the organization.
- Infrastructure & Systems Management
- Oversee all IT infrastructure including servers, networks, hardware, software, and communication systems.
- Manage system upgrades, migrations, maintenance activities, and technology projects.
- Ensure reliable system performance through proactive monitoring and support.
- Support multiple facilities and offices across Canada.
- Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Lead IT security initiatives and ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices.
- Oversee backup, recovery, disaster preparedness, and business continuity plans.
- Monitor network security, physical and virtual environments, and cloud-based systems.
- Implement policies and procedures that protect company information and assets.
- Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop members of the IT team.
- Manage departmental performance and establish priorities to achieve business objectives.
- Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to identify technology needs.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure service delivery expectations are met.
- Participate in recruitment and succession planning activities for the IT department.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of IT leadership experience with progressively increasing responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network administration, servers, hardware, and software environments.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, backup and recovery, and information security.
- Experience managing IT projects, budgets, and third-party vendors.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting multi-site operations, distribution, warehousing, manufacturing, or service organizations is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of AS400, Apple OS, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and related technologies is an asset.
