We’re looking for a Wealth Operations Team Lead to provide leadership for Affinity Wealth Management operations, first-line compliance controls, and administrative support functions within the Affinity Wealth Management business. This role will proactively manage operational activities and dealer-delegated supervisory responsibilities, ensuring dealer, regulatory, and organizational requirements are implemented, communicated to impacted parties, and followed.
What you’ll do
- Leads employees responsible for Affinity Wealth Management operations, dealer-delegated compliance activities, and administrative support functions, ensuring effective service delivery, operational effectiveness, and accountability.
- Oversees Wealth processing, mutual fund administration, and related administrative functions, ensuring accurate and timely completion of transactions, documentation, registered plan activities, and resolution of escalated operational issues.
- Acts in the dealer-delegated capacity of Branch Compliance Manager (or equivalent supervisory role), ensuring adherence to dealer, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements across the Affinity Wealth Management business.
- Oversees operational systems, workflows, and administrative processes supporting the Wealth business, ensuring employees have appropriate tools, access, resources, and support to effectively deliver Wealth services.
- Ensures employees have the information, resources, tools, and guidance required to understand and fulfill their responsibilities within the Wealth business
- Provides leadership and direction to employees responsible for first-line wealth compliance activities, ensuring audit findings, compliance requirements, and identified deficiencies are addressed in a timely manner.

What you’ve got
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Intermediate understanding of Affinity Credit Union’s business objectives and divisional business operations
- In-depth knowledge of wealth operations, administrative processes, mutual fund requirements, and first-line compliance obligations
- Ability to conduct and use leading practice research to create, implement, and revise innovative processes
- Ability to lead, engage, and coach employees, set clear expectations, review progress, provide feedback and guidance, and hold people accountable
