Ahria Consulting is delighted to partner with McCormick Care Group in their search for an Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer.
McCormick Care Group is a charitable organization based in London, Ontario, with a long history of providing compassionate care to the community, including McCormick Home and McCormick Dementia Services.
We are looking for a warm, professional and organized Executive Assistant to support the CEO and the Board, and to be the first point of contact for the internal and external requests that keep a small, close-knit leadership team moving.
What You Will Do
- Support the Board Chair and Committee Chairs with meeting planning, agendas, meeting materials, minutes and follow-up.
- Support Board members by answering their inquiries and making sure they are prepared with the right materials for every meeting.
- Support the CEO with meeting preparation, scheduling, documentation, and monitoring schedules for reporting and other compliance matters.
- Be the first point of contact for internal and external requests.
- Regularly identify and recommend technology innovations that improve board processes.
- Review and approve Corporate Office invoices for payment by McCormick Home.
- Maintain the McCormick Care Group corporate records.
- Arrange the McCormick Care Group meeting and the Annual General Meeting, in collaboration with the Director of Communication.
- Follow all organizational policies and procedures, help ensure a safe environment for residents, clients and visitors, and comply with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
Hours and Location
- Primarily on-site, with flexibility to work from home when needed.
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with occasional flexibility required to accommodate meetings, Board activities, and special events outside of regular business hours.
What You Bring
- Post-secondary education in administrative studies.
- At least five years of experience in administrative support.
- Exceptional communication skills and a self-motivated, personable approach.
- Flexibility, willingness and ability to support various individuals with various tasks.
- A willingness to support new technologies that improve board processes.
- An understanding of board governance and health care is preferred.
What We Offer
- Salary of $75,000 to $80,000.
- HOOPP pension.
