Air Unlimited Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Engineering Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, technical development, and coordination of industrial projects. This individual will work closely with customers, internal teams, and external partners to deliver high-quality, efficient solutions tailored to client needs. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and complete CAD designs and drawings for custom system packages
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical and electrical systems
- Coordinate projects with subcontractors and internal staff, ensuring adherence to timelines and specifications
- Develop and implement strategies to improve build efficiencies and overall project performance
- Research and evaluate new technologies and products relevant to the compressed air and power generation industries
- Create proposals for large commercial and industrial clients
- Provide technical support to the sales team and assist in new system design and implementation
- Collaborate with consulting engineering firms as required for design and project development
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong background or education in mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Self-starter with a high level of motivation and initiative
- Experience in project coordination or technical project management is an asset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Willingness to travel occasionally for project or customer support
Education and Training
- Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience, is considered an asset
Required License or Certifications:
- Class 5 Drivers License / Valid Passport
