Airswift is supporting a major energy and industrial project in Canada and is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Technician DCS Process to join a world-class operations team.
This role will be responsible for monitoring and controlling plant processes through the Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in commissioning, start-up, and ongoing operational activities within a large-scale industrial facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate process systems via DCS and field equipment.
- Ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant plant operations.
- Troubleshoot process upsets and implement corrective actions.
- Support commissioning, start-up, shutdown, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize production performance.
- Follow operational procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate operational records and reports.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Process Operator, Operations Technician, or similar role within industrial processing facilities.
- Strong knowledge of DCS systems and process operations.
- Experience in commissioning and start-up environments is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of safety and environmental regulations.
- Ability to work in a rotational schedule and collaborative team environment.
- Valid authorization to work in Canada or eligibility to obtain required work permits.
