Responsibilities
Clean and disinfect clinical and non-clinical healthcare areas, including maintaining floors, beds, linens, bathrooms, windows, and supplies, and handling hazardous waste. Identify and report hazards, maintain room inspection standards, protect confidentiality, and potentially train or orient Environmental or Laundry staff.
Requirements
Required qualifications include Grade 10 or equivalent, computer and smartphone proficiency, and the physical ability to stand, walk, perform repetitive movements, lift up to 25 pounds, and push or pull up to 50 pounds of force. Preferred qualifications include institutional or hospital cleaning experience, WHMIS knowledge, industrial cleaning equipment experience, English proficiency, and basic computer knowledge.
