Responsibilities
Clean and disinfect clinical and non-clinical healthcare areas, including floors, rooms, bathrooms, ceilings, and windows; handle linens, supplies, and hazardous waste. Identify and report hazards, maintain room inspection standards, support infection prevention, and potentially train or orient Environmental or Laundry staff.
Requirements
Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent is required, along with computer and smartphone proficiency and the physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and push or pull up to 50 pounds of force. The role requires respectful, confidential, quality-focused service; hospital or institutional cleaning experience, WHMIS knowledge, industrial cleaning equipment experience, English proficiency, and basic computer knowledge are preferred.
