Role Description The Stock Coordinator FT role is a full-time, on-site position located in Winnipeg, MB. In this role, the Stock Coordinator manages the flow of merchandise, including receiving, unpacking, tagging, and organizing inventory in the stockroom and on the sales floor. The position is responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, performing regular inventory counts, and supporting replenishment to ensure product availability and visual presentation standards. The Stock Coordinator collaborates closely with store leadership and sales associates to prioritize stock needs, support promotional changes, and follow company procedures for transfers, returns, and damaged goods. The role also includes maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient stockroom environment and assisting with store operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience with inventory handling, stockroom organization, and merchandise replenishment in a retail environment.
- Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and accuracy in recording stock movements and counts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, prioritize tasks, and follow established procedures and timelines.
- Comfort with physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving boxes, and standing or walking for extended periods.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with store leadership and team members.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale or inventory management systems are an asset.
- Previous retail or stockroom experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
