Role: SAP Business Analyst – Supply Chain
Location:- Downtown Montreal, QC - Onsite 2 days per week
The consultant must meet the following qualifications to be considered for the internal selection process:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Functional Lead or Business Analyst in a supply chain-related environment.
- Demonstrated experience in at least one large-scale information systems development and implementation project involving logistics and procurement.
- Proven experience in supply chain activities, including planning, logistics, and process optimization.
- Demonstrated experience with SAP or other ERP procurement requirements planning modules.
- Strong experience in business process modeling and business transformation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across different business functions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and summarization skills.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience in the energy sector.
- Knowledge of BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation).
- Experience with SAP procurement, planning, and logistics modules, including SAP MM, PM, and SD.
- Experience with SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) or SAP Analytics Cloud.

Project Overview
We are seeking a SAP Business Analyst – Supply Chain consultant to support a project focused on optimizing material requirements planning processes for a client in the energy sector.
The selected candidate will act as a Business Product Owner, supporting business partners in solution configuration and development activities. The role will also involve recommending and coordinating end-to-end supply chain improvements to maximize SAP capabilities and improve data quality.
Project Background
As part of the client's procurement and logistics initiatives, several business needs have been identified and analyzed. The client is currently developing a comprehensive view of its planning and logistics operations, with a focus on improving business processes and leveraging the full potential of SAP.
The selected candidate will be responsible for understanding the overall supply chain landscape and proposing solutions aligned with supply chain best practices, business processes, organizational objectives, and existing enterprise systems.
The role will focus on maximizing the use of SAP data and capabilities to improve operational efficiency, streamline processes, and support end-to-end supply chain optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the implementation of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Model, document, and maintain detailed business processes.
- Collaborate with business partners and IT teams to optimize processes and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Define, document, and maintain business rules.
- Validate that proposed IT solutions meet business requirements and organizational objectives.
- Participate in implementing changes to business processes and operational procedures.
- Contribute to defining test cases and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Support the development and implementation of change management strategies, including communication and training.
- Understand internal stakeholder processes to facilitate transitions and ensure smooth implementation.
- Support the Project Manager with project reporting and status updates.
