Role: Release Lead

Job Summary:
The candidate should have strong experience in Cloud DevOps, Python, application server deployment, and administration, along with excellent release coordination and troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end software release activities across multiple environments.
- Plan release schedules, deployment activities, dependencies, and implementation timelines.
- Coordinate with Development, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Application Support teams.
- Manage application server deployment and administration activities.
- Perform and support application deployments, configuration changes, and production releases.
- Use Cloud DevOps tools and practices to automate and improve release processes.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for deployment automation, operational tasks, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor deployment activities and resolve release-related issues.
- Ensure proper version control, build management, and deployment documentation.
- Coordinate release readiness, approvals, implementation plans, and rollback procedures.
- Troubleshoot application/server deployment failures and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and identify opportunities for deployment automation.
- Conduct post-release validation and coordinate production issue resolution.
- Prepare release status reports, deployment documentation, and post-release reports.
- Ensure adherence to change management, security, and operational processes.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Release Management / Release Coordination.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong Python scripting skills for automation and operational support.
- Experience with Application Server Deployment & Administration.
- Good understanding of application deployment architecture and environment management.
- Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Git, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Knowledge of build and deployment processes across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of change, incident, and release management processes.
