Hiring: Business Analyst / Scrum Master – Montreal, QC

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst & Scrum Master to support a strategic enterprise platform within a global financial services organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, process walkthroughs, and discovery sessions.
- Define current-state and future-state business processes.
- Create BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, refinement, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, impediments, and delivery commitments.
- Support Product Owners with backlog prioritization.
- Coordinate across business, product, architecture, engineering, operations, risk, and compliance teams.
- Support UAT, business validation, production readiness, and change management.
- Drive Agile best practices, delivery governance, reporting, and continuous improvement.
🔹 Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Scrum Master, or Delivery Lead.
- Strong experience with enterprise application development, workflow automation, digital transformation, or platform modernization.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum, Kanban, and SDLC.
- Experience with requirements gathering process mapping, workflow diagrams, and user journeys.
- Experience working with architects, developers, QA teams, and Product Owners.
- Financial services, banking, insurance, or capital markets experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
Preferred:
- Experience with governance, compliance, risk, audit, legal, regulatory reporting, or operational controls.
- Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of APIs, integrations, data flows, reporting, and dashboards.
- Scrum Master, Agile, SAFe, CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar certification.
- Experience working with global/distributed teams.
