THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are currently seeking a Government Relations Summer Student to join our Government Relations team. Reporting to the Manager, Government Relations and Policy, the successful candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, pay attention to detail, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. This 4-month work term will commence in May 2027 and is based in Calgary.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the guidance of the Senior Government Relations Advisors, the student will:

Support the development of policy positions, advocacy strategies, submissions, communications strategies, and materials for managing policy issues

Assist in coordinating meetings, stakeholder engagements, and events related to government relations, including scheduling, logistics, and materials preparation
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO ARC:

This position is ideally suited for students currently in their second or third year of a Bachelor's program in Economics, Business, Political Science or Public Policy and are returning to their studies in the following term
