Your Co-op Opportunity at ARC'TERYX:
As the Product Finance Co-op Student you will play a key role in supporting the growth of our product finance function. You will be supporting our cross-functional business partners, improving the way that we support merchandising, commercial and product teams with enhanced KPI and reporting visibility. You will work closely with members of the financial planning, merchandising and product teams to drive our product strategy forward through analytical insights and financial support, and will help strengthen our ability to make informed strategic decisions.
In this role you will learn and/or use the following technology: Microsoft Office, Oracle, OneStream, Power BI, and AI tools.
Candidates must be enrolled in a post-secondary Co-op or internship program for the duration of the term and must be eligible to work in Canada.
Meet Your Future Team:
The Product Finance team at Arc’teryx sits at the intersection of finance and product, partnering with Merchandising, Commercial, and regional finance teams globally to understand how our products perform. We own the financial view of product margin and pricing, from what a product costs to make through to what it sells for across our regions and channels. Through financial modelling, variance analysis and KPI tracking, the team drives insights to enable leadership decisions on pricing, margin, product assortment and long-termproduct strategy.
You will work directly with the Manager, FP&A - Product Finance and alongside the rest of the Global Revenue, Gross Margin and Inventory FP&A team, with coaching and mentorship throughout your term.

If you were the Product Finance Co-op Student, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Analyzing unit economics trends including retail pricing, average sale prices, product costs and markdown rates across regions, channels and product categories
- Supporting product margin forecasting and reporting including product category sales mix, standard costs, markdown rates and product margin, and delivering clear commentary on business performance
- Standardizing monthly deliverables and building product performance reporting for the Product Finance team to improve consistency and predictability for our cross-functional product and commercial partners
- Maintaining weekly and monthly product reporting and category dashboards for key stakeholders using OneStream, Power BI, Oracle and other data analysis tools
- Building and maintaining ad hoc financial models related to product revenue and margins
Here are some of the things you will learn by the end of your Co-op placement:
- You’ll have a strong understanding of how product strategy and financial strategy are related and key to driving business success
- You’ll have tangible experience translating data and financial analysis into actionable insights to guide strategic decision making
- You’ll have hands-on experience with enterprise finance systems and reporting tools, including OneStream, Power BI and Oracle
- You’ll have a deeper understanding of the role that Financial Planning and Analysis teams play in steering business decisions
Are you our next Product Finance Co-op Student?
- You are currently enrolled in a post-secondary Co-op or internship program, working toward a degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field
- You have completed at least two years of study. Prior internship experience in a field related to Finance, Accounting, Consulting or Data Analysis is considered an asset
- You have exceptional attention to detail
- You have strong analytical skills with a solid aptitude for MS Excel and data analysis tools, including Power BI
- You are curious about how AI tools can automate routine tasks and improve the quality and speed of your output
- You can prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can collaborate with colleagues across teams and departments
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You can balance autonomy and collaboration
- You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions

Compensation:
The salary range for this role is CAD $42,100 - $55,100; Individual pay is determined by factors such as program of study, year of study, job-related skills, and relevant experience.
