Work Arrangement: Flexible, between in-office and home
Pay Range: $42,100 - $55,100; pay is dependent on year of study and related experience
Duration: Eight (8) months, January 4, 2027 – August 13, 2027
Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week, M-F

As a Social Media Co-Op Student, you play an integral role in helping shape how our brand connects with outdoor enthusiasts across the globe. You help bring our storytelling to life through compelling content, engage with our community, and assist in the execution of social media campaigns that reflect our commitment to sustainability and adventure.
Expect to face the challenge of maintaining brand consistency while adapting to the fast-paced nature of social media trends. By the end of your term, you will have gained hands-on experience in digital marketing strategies, and you will leave with a robust portfolio that could open doors to future opportunities within the outdoor and apparel industries.

If you were a Social Media Operations Co-Op Student now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of the Global Social Media team, helping maintain content calendars, asset databases and publishing workflows
- Coordinating the intake of licensed photography and motion assets, including file organization, naming, metadata, usage information, and database processing to support distribution across global and regional teams
- Supporting cross-functional teams through the social briefing process and social ways of working
- Helping coordinate asset handoffs between paid media, athletes, regional teams and other cross-functional partners
- Identifying opportunities to simplify workflows, improve asset organization and create more scalable ways of working
- Maintaining social media process documentation, briefing guides, templates, playbooks and onboarding resources that make it easier to work with social media
- Supporting social media operations for Arc’teryx Academies and other major brand events, including content planning, asset intake, photographer and creator workflows, publishing coordination and real-time content organization, and post-event asset distribution
Here are some of the things you will learn by the end of your Co-Op placement:
- You will have a strong grasp of how to leverage organic social media platforms for brand growth, learned how we craft and execute digital marketing campaigns, and developed skills in community management and content strategy
- You will also gain insights into the outdoor apparel industry and how social media can drive brand affinity and customer engagement
Are you our next Social Media Operations Co-Op Student?
- You are currently enrolled in a Marketing, Communications, or related program at a recognized post-secondary institution, ideally in your 3rd or 4th year of study
- You have a keen interest in social media and digital marketing, with a passion for the outdoor lifestyle
- You possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and can adapt your tone to fit the Arc'teryx brand
- You are proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- You are familiar with social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube and have foundational experience with creative software tools such as Figma or Adobe Creative Suite
- You have a collaborative mindset but can also work independently and take initiative on projects
- You embody our values of sustainability, innovation, and a commitment to the outdoors
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
- You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement

Compensation:The salary range for this role is CAD$42,100 - $55,100; Individual pay is determined by factors such as program of study, year of study, job-related skills, and relevant experience.
