Responsibilities:
- Work Safely; following all safety precautions and procedures to ensure no injuries occur
- Set up, adjust and operate metal forming machinery
- Work with close tolerances as per work order
- Inspect the product using testing equipment and verify correct measurements
- Examine the finished products to ensure that they meet customer requirements and industry standards
- Maintain work area equipment in a clean and orderly fashion
Requirements:
- Ability to use hand held measurement instruments like caliper and micrometer.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is an asset/
- Experience with lathe and punch presses will be given preference.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Able to operate basic hand tools e.g grinder, polisher, multiple saws.
- Perform own basic quality and inspections checks.
- Basic Shop Math.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 6:30am-4:00pm and Friday 6:30am-10:30am.
pay rate is 21-23 per hour
