Mandate Overview
The
Application Delivery Lead plays a pivotal role at the intersection of project management and technical execution within a major P&C insurance project. Assigned to the
Fraud Management application component, the successful candidate will sit between the project manager and multidisciplinary engineering teams to drive delivery forward, ensure progress, and bring the solution to production.
Beyond administrative tracking and artifact creation, the client stresses true accountability: we require a hands-on leader who steps in to resolve issues, manage cross-team dependencies, and mobilize contributors across all technical disciplines (development, architecture, infrastructure, security, testing, and operations).
Qualifications & Target Profile
- Experience: Proven track record as an IT Delivery Lead driving the tangible progress of an application component within a large-scale project (demonstrated team size, budget, or complex ecosystem).
- Domain Knowledge: Strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance or complex financial systems (experience with fraud detection, claims, or underwriting systems is a strong asset).
- Technical Breadth: Demonstrated expertise in Agile/hybrid contexts with hands-on cross-discipline integration (architecture, security, infrastructure, QA, and operations).
- Delivery Management: Solid experience in cost estimation, deliverable planning, and implementation strategy (beyond simple schedule or backlog tracking).
- Leadership Attributes: High sense of accountability, strong issue-resolution skills, influence-based leadership, and the ability to mobilize multidisciplinary contributors under pressure.
