Position Summary
Working alongside an experienced pharmacy team, you will play an important role in providing safe, accurate, and patient-focused pharmacy care.
This position offers the opportunity to practice to your full scope, provide professional services, and work collaboratively with patients, pharmacy team members, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately review and dispense prescriptions while providing medication counselling and clinical support to patients.
- Provide expanded-scope pharmacy services, including injections, vaccinations, medication reviews, and other professional services.
- Identify and resolve medication-related concerns while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
- Support pharmacy workflow, inventory management, documentation, and compliance with professional, privacy, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacists.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, PharmD, or equivalent recognized pharmacy degree.
- Injection certification is required; previous community pharmacy experience is preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with HealthWatch is considered an asset.
